Is it a print or a digital file?
It is a digital file. We email you a high-resolution image of your pet's portrait — nothing is posted to you. You print it yourself, at any size, as many times as you like, wherever you like.
How long does it take?
About 24 hours from when you upload your photo to when the finished portrait lands in your inbox.
What photo works best?
A clear, well-lit, in-focus photo taken roughly at your pet's eye level, with their face clearly visible. Full guide: what photo works best.
What if it does not look like them?
We do it again. If your portrait does not look like your pet, tell us and we will remake it.
Can I get more than one pet in a portrait?
Yes. Pricing is per portrait, based on how many pets are in it:

What size can I print it?

Can I use it as a gift?
Yes, and because there is nothing to post, there is no delivery deadline to worry about and nothing that can go missing in the post. See pet portrait gift for how to give it well.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Upload your photo, pay, and we email the finished file to the address you give us.
What pets can you do?
Dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, birds and most small pets. If your photo is clear enough to see your pet's face and markings, we can work with it.
What happens to my photo?
We use it to make your portrait. We do not need it for anything else.
Can I order for someone else's pet as a surprise?

My pet has died — can you still work from an old photo?
Yes, any photo works the same way. Just pick the clearest one you have.
What file format do I get?
A high-resolution image file by email, suitable for printing at home, at a photo counter, or through an online print service.
Can I order more than one portrait?
Yes, there is no limit — order as many separate portraits as you like.
What if I upload a blurry or low-resolution photo?
